Obituary

Pauline Ann Powers Brennan, 85, of Plymouth peacefully passed away while surrounded by her children on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Pauline was born and raised in Malden.  She graduated from Malden Hospital's School of Nursing in 1959.  Her long and distinguished career as an operating room nurse at both Newton Wellesley Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital filled her with pride and was indeed one of her two passions in life.  The other was as a loving and devoted mother to her two children, a doting grandmother, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was predeceased in death by her sibling, Mary Alice Murphy.  She is  survived by her brother Jack  Mitchell, Jr. and his wife, Carol.  She is also survived by her son Jay Powers and his wife Vivian Powers, daughter  Stephanie Connon, her precious grandchildren Sophia Connon, Max Powers and Kora Powers, her brother-in-law William Murphy, Charles Connon, and nieces and nephews whom she loved.

Our deepest appreciation is extended to Pauline's care team of 4 Berger at Hebrew Rehabilitation in Roslindale.  And to our mother's guardian angel, Marcia (Bernice) Gayle, thank you.

Pauline was an inspirational, beautiful, and courageous woman who will be greatly missed by many who knew and loved her.
