Devin Anderson Estes, 5, of Tifton passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2023, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Josh Bennett, the Rev. Shane Suggs and the Rev. Caleb Franks officiating. Devin will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Daniel Harnage, Ken Goddard, Rick Hayes and Jack Tyler will serve as pallbearers.
Born May 8, 2018, in Tifton, Devin was the son of Adam Anderson Estes and Paris; and Amber Brooke Courtoy and Kurt Lynch, all of Tifton. Devin attended kindergarten at G.O. Bailey Elementary School. His family attended Awaken Church in Tifton, which he loved and was very active in his church. Devin loved to color, write, he loved to dance, he loved Paw Patrol, and he loved his tablet. He was very loved by many and he loved everyone, especially his brothers. He was always the light of the room.
Devin was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Gary Courtoy and his great-grandmothers, Frances Allen and Laurie Estes.
In addition to his parents, Devin is survived by two brothers, Dalton Courtoy and Dylan Estes, both of Tifton; one sister, Danielle Estes of Tifton; his grandparents, Beverly (Mema) Hightower, Greg (Pa) and Jeannie (Jen Jen) Courtoy and Ren (Papa Ren) and Lanette (NeNe) Estes, all of Tifton, Jan (MeMe) Allen of Brunswick and Kyle (Pepa) and Amy (Amos) Scarborough of Ty Ty; his great-grandparents, Donald L. Hightower (Patsy) and Geraldine Courtoy, all of Tifton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
