Axford, Edmund Carey, of Pocatello, Idaho, formerly of Plymouth, on June 22nd. He is survived by his children Edmund M. Axford and his wife Susan of Pocatello, ID; Linda K. Ewell and her husband Reed of Draper, UT; David V. Axford and his wife Trina of Logan, UT; and Craig P. Axford and his wife Chris of Salt Lake City, UT. He also leaves his brother Grant Axford and his wife Barbara of Plymouth and his sister Christine Murtha of Clearwater, FL.13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Father of the late William H. Axford. A graveside service will be held on Monday July 10 at the Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth at 10:00 AM Visiting hours and funeral were held in Pocatello, ID. Schools: graduated from Plymouth High School where he was President of his class “1942”, attended Boston University
Occupation: employed with retailing most of his life, working also in real estate and as a Quality Assurance Controller at several nuclear power plants
Military: served during WWII in the U.S Navy
Hobbies: enjoyed stamp collecting, metal detecting and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, he was also very knowledgeable of U.S History, receiving the History Prize for Excellence in American History
Memberships: an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in various church positions including Branch President , Executive Secretary, Basketball and Softball Coach
Place of death: June 22nd in Pocatello, Idaho
