Ronald C. Stewart Sr. Obituary
Ronald Clair Stewart, Sr., 83, of Glen Campbell, PA passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Beacon Ridge in Indiana, PA.
The son of Ted F. and Earline M. (Cowan) Stewart, he was born on July 9, 1940 in Hillsdale, PA.
Ron received his education at the Marion Center School District.
He attended the Shiloh Baptist Church in Decker’s Point, PA.
Prior to his retirement, Ron had been employed by Roadway Safety, the Copper Valley Coal Company and the Research-Cottrell Construction Company. He was a member of various construction unions.
Surviving are his two sons: Ronald Clair (Nancy Joy) Stewart, Jr. of Indiana, PA and Robert Allen Stewart of Seattle, WA; grandson, Ronald Clair (Sarah) Stewart III and great granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Stewart.
Also surviving are his four siblings: Eugene (Sharon) Stewart of Marion Center, PA; Ted (Jeanene) Stewart of Commodore, PA; Deloris (George) Kiesel of Seward, PA and Gary (Judy) Stewart of Marion Center, PA and his sister-in-law, Lois Stewart of Marion Center, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Vernon Stewart.
Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA, where a 1:00 p.m. funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation with Pastor John Sykes officiating. Interment at Rowley Cemetery, Hillsdale, PA.
