Patricia E. Gibbons (Vogler), 91, of Salem, NH died October 27, 2023 at Cedar View Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Methuen, MA following a lengthy illness. She was born in South Bend, Indiana on December 22, 1931 the daughter of the late Arthur and Eleanor Vogler. Mrs. Gibbons had resided in Derry for more than 50 years. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Nursing School in South Bend, IN, where she met her late husband Paul, a Notre Dame Graduate. Patty and Paul later moved to New Hampshire where they raised their seven children. Besides her love for her family, Mrs. Gibbons was an avid baker and cherished her flower gardens and birds.
Mrs. Gibbons is survived by her children, Timothy Gibbons, Christopher Gibbons and his wife Kimberly, Jeffrey Gibbons, Amy Aube and her husband Jaime, Cara Mottolo and her husband David; numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren; her dear brother, George Vogler and his wife Marie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Paul Gibbons, son, Donald Gibbons, daughter, Joyce Gibbons and sister, Joyce Stalteri.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 1st from 4 – 6pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A memorial service will follow at 6:00pm in the funeral home. A private burial will be celebrated in the West Hampstead Cemetery, West Hampstead at a later date.
