Dorothy (Hill) Price, 86, of Anderson, passed away peacefully with family by her side, at her home on October 26, 2023.
She was born on April 1, 1937 in Spring City, Tennessee, the daughter of Scott and Rebecca (Fugate) Hill.
Dorothy was a homemaker, who enjoyed canning and vegetable and flower gardening. She was known for her hospitality, a fresh pot of coffee and conversation, whether on her front porch or in her home. Dorothy also babysat many children through the years.
Dorothy is survived by her children Gary Price, Karen (Doug) Gale, Tim (Carol) Price; grandchildren, Brandon(Abby) Gale, Cody Price, Kasi (Vernon) Shelton, Austin Price, TJ Price, Josh Price; step grandson, Brady Gale; sisters-in law Lucille McClendon and Regina Reed; brother-in-law, Bennie (Vicki) Price and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Charles E. Price, her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Guyman and Frances Hill; inlaws, Gordon and Ina Price; brother-in-law, Lonnie McClendon; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Linda Price; brothers-in-law, Bennie Reed and Bobby Price; special nephew, Toby Baker.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11 AM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Gary Cable officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
