T. Scott Burns, age 73, passed away on October 24, 2023, at Vantage of Wilbraham Nursing Home. He was born on March 8, 1950 in Delaware, Ohio. He was son of the late George W. Burns and Hermine (McDonald) Burns. He worked as a manager for Child World, in Springfield, MA and later, for over twenty-five years for the US Postal Service in the bulk mail center, before he retired. He is survived by his sons, Jeff Burns and his wife Kristin, of Chicopee and Christopher Burns of Idaho; his brother George Burns and his wife Mary of Michigan and his sister Barbara Spears of Ohio. He is also survived by two beloved grandchildren, Lexus and Jordan of Idaho, and several nieces, Erin and Audrey of Ohio and Meghan and Molly of Michigan. Scott was predeceased by his companion, Bonnie, of Springfield. Scott was a huge Yankee fan and would often take his sons to baseball games. He loved Cape Cod and would take his children there every summer on holiday. All services will be private at the convenience of the family. A memorial for Scott will be scheduled later.
