Raymond "Ray" R. Girard, 75 of West Brookfield, passed away on October 25th at UMass Memorial Hospital -- University Campus surrounded by his loving family.
Enjoy every moment you have with loved ones, because there will come a time when you are going to wish you could have one more day with them.
Ray was a wonderful husband to his wife of 50 years, Patricia (McCauliff) Girard; a great father to his three sons, Paul J. Girard and his wife, Heather, Raymond J. Girard and his wife, Carrie Anne, and Shawn P. Girard and his wife, Monique; a big brother to his sister, Mary Hartmann of Las Vegas, NV; a caring grandfather and great grandfather; uncle; and friend. Ray was a proud member of the US Navy during the Vietnam era.
Per his request there are no calling hours. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements.
