In Loving Memory of Jeanne Marie (McCarthy) Feeley 7/4/1950- 10/25/2023.

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Jeanne, who left us all too soon at the age of 73. She departed from this world on October 25, 2023, after bravely battling complications from a sudden and unexpected stroke.

Jeanne was more than just a mother; she was the shining light of our lives, a source of unwavering love, and the embodiment of strength and grace. Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts, and the legacy she leaves behind will continue to inspire and uplift us.

Born on July 4, 1950, Jeanne, graced this world with her presence and warmth. Throughout her 73 years of life, she touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a pillar of love and support, always putting the needs of her family and friends above her own. She is predeceased by her father, Joseph McCarthy, mother Margret (Peg) McCarthy, and brothers Joseph and Paul McCarthy. Jeanne is survived by her children, Kevin Feeley and wife Alexandria of Salisbury, Joseph Feeley and wife Tina of Charleston, SC, Colleen (Feeley) LeShane and partner Douglas Dias of Malden, brother Robert McCarthy and wife Kelly of Reading, nephew Robert McCarthy of Malden, niece Kathryn McCarthy of Reading, and her grandchildren, Timothy, Cadence, and Brylie, along with many cousins and friends.

She was a loving mother, an incredible friend, a doting grandmother, and a devoted sister and cousin. Her family was her world, and she showered us with boundless love, care, and wisdom. She had an innate ability to make us feel cherished, and her laughter was a melody that could brighten the darkest of days.

Jeanne was not only an exceptional mother but also a remarkable woman. She was known for her resilience and unwavering faith. She faced life's challenges with grace, and her courage in the face of adversity was an inspiration to us all. As a lifelong resident of Malden, Jeanne’s dedication to her passions and relentless pursuit of happiness led to her unwavering support of the city, most notably as the Malden representative for the Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational School Committee.

She had a deep love for being a flight attendant, and loved to tell everyone she met all about her travels and experiences. Her hobbies and interests were endless, and she encouraged us to explore our own passions with the same enthusiasm and zest for life that she possessed.

Jeanne had an infectious smile that could melt the iciest of hearts, and her kindness was boundless. She treated everyone she encountered with respect and warmth, making friends easily and cherishing the bonds she formed. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she would go to great lengths to help those in need.

As we bid farewell to our dear mother, sister, cousin, grandmother and friend, we take solace in the memories we shared and the love she gave us. She may be gone from our sight, but she will forever remain in our hearts, a guiding star lighting our way through life's challenges.

In her memory, let us honor Jeanne by emulating her kindness, her strength, and her unwavering love. Let us cherish each moment, love without conditions, and find solace in the beauty of people, just as she did.
