Jerome (Jerry) David Moses, 66, of Ventura, CA, passed away on October 20, 2023 in Ventura. Jerry was born in Oxnard to Marilyn and Ralph Moses on July 18, 1957. He attended Hueneme High School. His youth was filled with festive meals, family stories, and enduring friendships that remained important to him his entire life.
In recent years, he was a funeral director, a true calling for him. His gentle spirit touched many lives. Previously, Jerry worked as a chef, restaurant owner, and food and beverage manager in Ventura County. He spent time driving taxis, a profession he loved because he met so many people.
Jerry, “Pepe”, was so thrilled to spend time with all the children in his life. He never missed a moment to laugh and play.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Karen Ronchetti, stepchildren Leslie Arnette and Eric Arnette, Niki Arnette, Andrew Norton; Siblings Alan and Leonard Moses, Nancy Friedland, Bethany Denlinger; Grandchildren Xander, Piper, Hazel, Naomi, Olive; Nieces and nephews Marina, Ethan, Sam and Ellie.
