David S. Margolis, 76, of Derry, NH died Monday October 23, 2023 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH following a lengthy illness. David was born in Boston, MA on October 12, 1947, a son of the late Bernard and Molly (Shmilovitch) Margolis.
He grew up in Dorchester and Brighton, MA. After graduating from the University of Mass / Boston, he worked as a laboratory technologist at Lahey Clinic for 37 years. David moved to Hampstead, NH, and eventually to Derry where he had lived for the past 45 years.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea Margolis of Derry; one daughter, Jessica Margolis of Derry; two sons, Peter Margolis and his wife Naomi of Penacook, NH, and Alan Zappala and his wife Paula of Laconia, NH; four grandchildren, Ava, Clara, Cheyanne, and Shawn.
Following cremation, calling hours and sharing will be held on Friday November 3, 2023 from 5 –7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
