Philip Marcel Rodriguez, known affectionately as Phil, passed away unexpectedly on October 16, 2023, at the age of 57.
Born on August 11, 1966, Phil leaves behind a legacy of caring & laughter. A Registered Nurse and Realtor, he was driven by the human connections he made every day. He possessed the uncanny ability to really get to know every person he met and show them that he genuinely cared for them. His loving nature, along with his sharp business acumen, made him unique in this world.
Phil was a lifelong resident of Cape Cod and enjoyed all the Cape has to offer, boating & fishing with friends, biking the local trails, walking the beach, boardwalk jumping, he was always up for an adventure, and knew how to make every moment count.
Phil leaves behind his wife Melissa, stepdaughters Shea (Aric) and Amy (Aaron) and his beloved grandson Elliott who filled his heart with so much joy. Phil also leaves behind his brother Frank and wife Kelley and their four sons, Adam, Derek, Jesse & Jack. His family mourns his loss along with a countless number of lifelong friends.
A celebration of Phil’s life will take place on Sunday October 29, 2023, from 3:00pm – 6:00pm at the Lakewood Hills Clubhouse, 7 Kiah’s Way, East Sandwich MA. It will be an occasion for sharing laughter, stories, and fond memories, just as Phil would have wanted.
We love you Phil and though we must say goodbye, we will always remember your warm smile, infectious laughter, and wicked sense of humor with a little sarcasm mixed in for good measure. We will do our best to shine on in your memory, to remember to care for those around us, and to live each moment to the fullest. Rest easy, Phil.
