Marilyn E. Correia passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 16, 2023 at the age
of 89. She was born on April 24, 1934 to the late Norman M. Morse and Elizabeth
(Harrington) Morse in Taunton, Massachusetts. She would spend most of her life in
Taunton and took great pride in where she lived. Marilyn loved her family immensely
and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a bright woman who was great at trivia,
word searches, and arts & crafts. In her free time, she loved collecting a variety of
different things and was always known for her knick knacks. She was a loyal and loving
person who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, the late Augustine (Gus) Correia of
Fall River and her brother Howard C. Morse of New Bedford.
She is survived by her son, Mark J. Correia of Fall River, loving brother James M. Morse
and his wife Charlotte of East Taunton, niece Valerie A. Morse of East Taunton,
great-nephew Shane W. Doyle of Middleboro, great-niece Jean-Marie (Doyle) Finn and
her husband Nikolas of East Taunton, their children Nora and Ezra Finn, and her lifelong
friend Ann Marie Cowan of Raynham.
Funeral and burial services will be private.
