Eric W. Kelso, age 44, passed away on October 22, 2023, following a courageous battle with testicular cancer. He was born on September 1, 1979, in Boston, Massachusetts.
Eric was a graduate of Canton High School, class of 1997, and furthered his education at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. In his professional life he worked at several companies where he fostered numerous valued friendships among colleagues. His most recent role was as a Document Services Manager at Zwicker & Associates.
Outside of work, Eric was an avid gamer and enjoyed the camaraderie of game nights with friends and family. Eric also spent hours and hours kayaking, often accompanied by his faithful companion, his dog, Daisy. He took Daisy on regular walks to the local park, where she was a celebrity with the neighborhood kids and he made friends with other fellow dog lovers.
He is loved and remembered by his parents, June and Bill Kelso of Franklin, MA, and his cherished siblings, Terri Azzi and her husband Naz Azzi of Norton, MA, and Kyle Kelso of Franklin, MA. Eric adored his nieces, Naima and Kelsi Azzi. They held a truly special place in his heart.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude for the compassionate care provided by the doctors, nurses and staff at Lahey Center of Oncology and Hematology in Salem, NH.
Visiting hours are from 3-5PM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St, Franklin, MA, 02038 on Friday, October 27, 2023. All who knew and loved Eric are invited to attend and celebrate his life.
A memorial service will take place at 5PM, directly followed by a memorial dinner at The Chateau Restaurant at 466 King St, Franklin, MA 02038.
