Ana L. Alvizures, 46 of Hartford, CT, passed away at Hartford Hospital on Sunday October 15,
2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 25th, 1977, in Caguas, Puerto Rico,
to Pasqual Ramos and Luz Castro.
Ana joined the work force at the age of 16, in various occupations. In 2010 she completed her
Nursing Aide certification program at Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, CT and
worked as a CNA around the area.
Ana is survived by her children Carlos S. Carrion, Carlos J. Carrion, Luis H. Alvizures, and Ediel A.
Alvizures. Her two sisters Maria Ramos and Gloria Ramos. Ana had 6 grandchildren (Ariella, Alex,
Abby, Aliana, Neveyah, and Izmarie)
She was predeceased by her parents, a sister (Milagros Ramos), 2 stillborn baby boys (Jose
Carlos and Christian).
Ana’s family and friends will gather to honor her life on Friday October 27,2023 from 11a.m. to
1p.m. in the chapel of the Hartford Community Funeral Home 380 Maple Avenue, Hartford, CT.
Burial will immediately follow in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
