Mary Virginia Marcantonio, 90, of Ventura Beach, CA passed away on 22 October, 2023 in Ventura, CA following a long illness. She was born 9 December, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA and went on to work several retail and restaurant jobs from high school right up to her retirement around 2003. She relocated to California in 2006 where she split time in Ventura Beach and Palm Desert with her sons right up until her passing.
She is survived by her two sons, Frankie Marc Anthony and Albert Marcantonio Jr of Ventura Beach, CA and her brother, Tony Randazzo of Pittsburgh, PA, along with several nephews and nieces also in Pittsburgh, PA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Marcantonio Sr, her brothers John Randazzo and Joseph Randazzo, sister Rosalie Randazzo and her parents Giuseppe Randazzo and Anna Randazzo.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Coastal View Skilled Nursing Facility for making the last few months of our mother's life as comfortable as possible so that she could transition into the afterlife on her own terms with grace and dignity and knowing that she was loved and will be missed immensely.
Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Monday, October 30, 2023 at 10:30am in Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 3175 Telegraph Road, Ventura. Interment will then follow at Santa Barbara Cemetery, 901 Channel Drive, Santa Barbara.
