Dedicated husband of Rita M. (Lydon) Dentremont for over 60 years. Devoted father of Donald E. and his wife Sheila of Wakefield, Thomas M. (Retired Boston Police Officer) and his wife Cheryl of Arlington, James J. (Retired Quincy Police Officer) and his wife Shelby of Walpole, Michael J. and his wife Tracy of Westwood, Beth S. Wyers and her husband Mark of Dover. Brother of the late Shirley Healey. Loving grandfather of Kaleigh, Mary Eileen, Greta, Danielle, Brien, Kristyn, Connor, Kevin, Grant, Bridget, Louie.
Donald was a member of the Dedham Men’s Club, coached Dedham Little League and taught CCD St. Susanna Church, Dedham. He was a fervent fan of the Boston Red Sox and Celtics.
Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St. Dedham on Friday, October 27, from 8:30-10:00am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 10:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
