Janice M. (Ramos) Gomes, 82, of New Bedford died October 20, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of the late Bradley F. Gomes, Sr.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Albert and Rita (Alves) Ramos, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Survivors include her 2 sons, Bradley F. Gomes, Jr. of Taunton and Mark Gomes and his wife Erin Pacheco Gomes of New Bedford; a brother, Benjamin Ramos of New Bedford; a sister, Maria Singleton of Pittsburgh; a grandson, Jackson A. Gomes; 2 great-grandchildren, Camrin Gomes and Jaylen Gomes, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Trino Wayne Gomes, grandmother of the late Bradley S. Gomes and the sister of the late Anthony Ramos, Alberta Ramos and Theresa "Sugar" Ramos.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 28th at 10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Her family will receive guests on Saturday morning from 9-10 AM prior to her service. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
