Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of James “Jay” Kulpan on October 16, 2023.

Jay (51) formerly of Boston, was the much beloved son of Maryann (Palizzolo) Kulpan and the late James A. Kulpan. He was a loving father to Stacey and Julia Kulpan, and the proud grandfather of his beautiful granddaughters, Alynna and Nova. Jay was the cherished brother of Lyn Kulpan Raghai and a dear friend to her husband Khalid Raghai (Dedham).
Jay had survived a long battle with throat cancer but ultimately his life was cut short suddenly and far too soon.

A former student of Blue Hills Regional Technical School, Jay worked for many years as a senior engineering technician. His colleagues appreciated his impressive mechanical skills and his great sense of humor.

Like his father before him, Jay was the ultimate “fix it” guy.

For those who knew and loved him, he will always be remembered for his gentle soul, his sense of humor, and his kind spirit.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Jay Kulpan to support cancer research and patient care at:
