Rogerio Rodrigues (62) of Fall River died October 20th in Brockton under hospice care surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Rosa Rodrigues of Fall River.
He was born in Mosteiros, Fogo, Cabo Verde son of the late Candido Rodrigues and Luisa (Barbosa) Rodrigues. Rogerio was a retired teacher and a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church. He was a diehard Benfica Soccer fan and enjoyed playing cards and telling jokes. Rogerio loved socializing with his family and friends.
In addition to his loving wife Rosa he is survived by 2 sons, Rodjer Rodrigues of Fall River and Ludjero Rodrigues of Brockton, 3 daughters, Rosana Monteiro, Romira and Ronice Rodrigues all of Fall River, 4 brothers, Candido Rodrigues of Dartmouth, Luis Rodrigues of Fall River, Nilton Rodrigues of Texas and Marcos Rodrigues of Portugal, 4 sisters, Nelsa Rodrigues of Brockton, Candida Andrade of Brockton, Gabriella Rodrigues of Holland and Augusta Andrade of Cabo Verde, 6 grandchildren, Jamary, Jehnelly, Jehnelson, Juliana, Neila and Gabriel, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday October 25th from 5-8 pm.
Services in the Funeral Home Thursday October 26th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church, 71 E Main Street Brockton at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
