Obituary



Mary (DiMarino) Pucillo passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the
Melrose - Wakefield Hospital on October 17th. She was 91. Born and raised in East Boston, Mary was the daughter of the late Antonio and the late Antonietta (Laezza) DiMarino.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. As a young woman she worked as a seamstress. Once she had married and settled in Medford, she devoted herself to caring for her family. Mary had a personal devotion to Saint Jude. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading. She loved being with her family. She was a good cook, but also enjoyed going out to eat. As she got older she continued to watch over her family and they in turn watched over her.

The beloved wife of the late Rocco Pucillo, Sr. who passed away in 2013, she was a devoted mother to Mary Rosati and her husband Anthony, Cheryl Fusco and her husband John, Joseph Pucillo and his wife Toni, Rocco Pucillo Jr and his wife Melissa and Stephanie Pucillo. She was a loving grandmother to Christian, Tanya, Anthony, Marc, Vincent, Rocco, Louis and Zoey. She was a loving great grandmother to Tyler, Christian, Antonia, Victoria, Isabella, Cameron, Iris and Fiona. Mary was a dear sister to Josephine DeMarco, Rose DiMarino, and sister-in-law Nancy Di Marino, and the late Victoria “Angie” Albano, Rose Clifford, Nicholas DiMarino and Peter DiMarino. Mary is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, October 24 from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mary's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
