WORCESTER__ Kenneth M. Klucznik, 70, of Worcester died in his home with his family around him on Thursday, October 19, 2023. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Christine E. (Homrok) Klucznik. He also leaves his children, Kimberly A. Foley and her husband Ryan of Shrewsbury, son, Keith A. Klucznik and his wife Danielle of Worcester; grandchildren, Declan, Cecilia and Finnegan Foley; sister Elaine F. Klucznik; nieces, nephews and friends. He was born in Worcester a son of the late Frank M. and Cecilia (Witowski) Klucznik.
Mr. Klucznik retired from International Brands, Inc. in 2010 after more than twenty-five years of employment. After his retirement, he joined Henry-Dirsa and Dirsa Morin Funeral Homes as a Registered Funeral Assistant. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School and attended Quinsigamond Community College. Along with his wife, they were members of Christ the King Church. An avid outdoorsman, Kenny could be found every season, complete in camouflage, to go hunting or fishing. He particularly enjoyed his annual trip with “The Fishing Poles”, Joe, Bob, Gary and Ed. He was a New England Sports fan and enjoyed traveling throughout the country and the islands. His intrinsic sense of humor not only entertained but enamored him with many. A fun-loving man, he was sensitive and kind. Ever proud of his family, they were his strength and his treasure.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of the UMass Memorial Cancer Center for their kindness and care provided Ken during his illness.
A funeral will be held with a Mass at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to UMass-Memorial Cancer Center, 365 Plantation Street, One Biotech,Worcester, MA 01605. www.worcesterfuneral.com.
