Webster – Paul J. Braczyk, 78, died Sunday, October 15, 2023, in Southbridge Rehabilitation and Health Care Center after an illness.
He leaves his partner, Elizabeth “Liz” (Gould) Braczyk; a sister, Ann Livingston and her husband Robert of Rolesville, NC; and a niece, Stephanie Baron and her husband David of Wake Forest, NC.
He was born on June 25, 1945 in Webster, the son of Alphonse A. and Stephanie M. (Majka) Braczyk and lived in Webster most of his life. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1963 and later earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University in 1970.
His career included many years at Wright Line in Worcester and later at Racine Printing in Danielson, CT. He retired in 2008.
He enjoyed modified stock car racing, magic, cooking, collecting books and was especially fond of his pet cats and all of God’s creatures.
At his request there will be no funeral services. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Donations in his memory may be made to the Community Cat Connection, 289 Thompson Road, Webster, MA 01570.
