Worcester – John “Jack” Lannon Gaucher, 85, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2023 in UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus after an illness.
John was born in Woonsocket, RI son of the late William L. and M. Frances (Lannon) Gaucher. John is survived by a son, Jonathan Vilbrin; his longtime companion Marisa Dorman, her grandchild, Kanani Dorman; great grandchildren, Dakota and Violet and several cousins.
Mr. Gaucher was proud veteran of the United States Navy and worked as a property manager for many various real estate properties in Worcester for many years.
John truly loved his family and many friends and the feeling was mutual in return for this kind and selfless man.
John enjoyed taking day trips to the casino and was always trying to think of a way that he could somehow come home a big winner. He took great enjoyment in playing the saxophone with many jazz bands in his younger years.
A funeral mass will be held at 9 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2023 in Saint Pius X Church 1161 Main Street Leicester, MA.
