Mary J. Gorman (McBreen) age 91, of West Bridgewater, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph P. Gorman.
Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Eileen (Curran) McBreen.
Mary was a resident of Stoughton for forty years and worked as a secretary and office worker for Stoughton Public Health Association / Visiting Nurses for many years.
She was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. They were the center of her life.
Mrs. Gorman was an ambitious woman who was fun and outgoing. She was a devout catholic and was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church while living in Stoughton.
Mary is survived by her two children, Joseph P. Gorman Jr. of Randolph, and MaryBeth Raymond of Easton; her beloved grandchildren, Kayla Raymond, Jacqueline Raymond, Courtney Raymond, and Sean Raymond; a sister, Kathleen Oliver of Bridgeton, ME; and several nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the entire staff at Lifecare Center of West Bridgewater for the loving and compassionate care they provided to Mary over the last five years.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 9:00 to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
