Christopher Steven Costarelli, 31, of Medford, MA sadly left us on October 14th, 2023. He is survived by his adoring son Brady Costarelli (8) and daughter Hazel Costarelli (4), their mother Stephanie Czerurinski, all of Medford, his sister Lauren Farnham and her husband Michael of Melrose, his loving partner Mary Cunningham of Boston, and his father Steven Costarelli of Somerville. Christopher was the beloved son of the late Patricia (Sullivan) Costarelli, also of Medford. Chris also left behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Chris was kind, loving, sensitive and intelligent. Growing up, he was fascinated with dinosaurs and an avid wrestling fan. He was a sports enthusiast who was also very competitive. Whether it be a family card or board game, or who could hold their breath under water the longest, he was always ready to challenge the best of the best. He loved his yearly vacations on Frye Island where every year he was the star of a core memory or inside joke. But his true passion was being a father, he loved his children more than anything. Chris will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted. A memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford at 10 AM on Thursday, November 9th. Those who knew and loved Christopher are welcome to attend. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
