KEZAR FALLS- Charles Foley, a beloved father, husband, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 82 on October 15, 2023. Charles was born on July 29, 1941, in Portland, Maine. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Lianne (Champion) Foley, who predeceased him.
Charles had a fulfilling life that spanned a variety of experiences. After graduating from culinary school, he embarked on a career in a machine shop, dedicating himself to his work until his well-deserved retirement. His hard work and dedication left a lasting impression on his colleagues and friends.
In 1962, Charles married the love of his life, Lianne Champion, and they celebrated 57 beautiful years of marriage together. Their love and devotion to each other served as an inspiration to all who knew them.
Charles is survived by his loving family, who will cherish his memory forever. He is survived by his two daughters, Janelle (Sam Stone) and Lisa (Jim Siegel), as well as his son, Matthew (Carrie Foley). Charles had a special place in his heart for his eight grandchildren: Jeremy, Bethany, Nathan, and Ben Stone, and Hannah and Brandon Siegel, Aidan, and Kylie Foley. His legacy lives on through them and their love for him. Additionally, he is survived by five great-grandchildren, who will grow up with stories of his love and wisdom.
Charles Foley was a kind and gentle soul who made an indelible mark on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His warm smile, unwavering love, and wisdom will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Charles Foley will be held on Sunday October 29, 2023, at 2 PM at the Kezar Falls Burial Ground.
