SANBORNTON ---- Florence Ernestine Griffin, 83, of Shute Hill Road, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Forestview Manor in Meredith.
Florence was born on November 23, 1939, in Franklin, the daughter of George and Eva (Spicer) Stinson.
She enjoyed her family which included several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Florence enjoyed her cats and had a love of all animals. Florence had many different jobs throughout the years. Her favorite was logging and she could do every aspect of the job.
Florence is survived by her daughter Sharon Griffin Nadeau and her husband Danny, sister Diane Stinson, and brother George Stinson, Jr. and his wife Cheryl. In addition to her parents, Florence is predeceased by her beloved husband, Leon Ernest Griffin II, sons Stanley Griffin and Leon E. Griffin, III, and her sisters Helen Stinson O’Dougherty and Rita Stinson.
