MYSTIC: Theodore Lester Roberts, 71, lost his battle to dementia and Parkinson’s, much like his father before him, on Sunday October 15, 2023 at Westerly Hospital under the care of hospice. He now joins his beloved wife, Dawn, who predeceased him nearly 15 years prior from metastatic breast cancer.
Theodore was born April 26, 1952, in Staten Island, NY. He was the oldest child of William and Dorothea Roberts. His younger brother Evans predeceased him due to COVID in 2020.
Theodore proudly served in the National Guard, though gained a distrust and dislike of coffee from his time in the service.
Theodore is survived by his daughter Kristen, and grandchildren Roman and Harlow Goodwin.
Theodore was a lover of animals, chess, and science fiction. He always had a joke and dealt with life with humor. His greatest wish was to be with his wife, the love of his life.
He will be interred with his wife and the burial will be private. There will be no calling hours.
