Obituary

CHICOPEE – Robert F. “Bob” Danczak, 79, of the Fairview section of Chicopee and a longtime resident of Southwick, was Called Safely Home on Sunday, October 15, 2023. He passed into Eternal Life from his home surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Holyoke on September 20, 1944, the beloved son of the late Alfred Danczak and Phyllis (Vaillant) Danczak Dennis. He graduated from Chicopee High School in 1963 and served his country in the United States Air Force. He was the owner and operator of the JC Danczak, Inc. and Danco Industries, Inc., both in Westfield. He was a member of the Moose Family Center 1849 and the Knights of Columbus Fairview Council 4044, both in Chicopee. He was a communicant of Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee. He enjoyed golfing, boating and traveling to many foreign countries. He was a true diehard football fan, most especially cheering on the New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs. Bob loved being with people, laughing at a good joke, and was generous to a fault. Most of all, he loved being with his family and many friends. He leaves his loving wife, Donna L. (Boucher) Danczak; his children, Christopher R. Danczak and his wife, Vanessa, of Waxhaw, NC, and Jennifer S. Husta and her husband, Scott, and his grandson, Ryan Husta, all of Hurley, NY; his stepsons, Brendan C. Elliott and his daughter, Aria, of Connecticut, and Connor S. Elliott and his partner, Ashley Fricke, of Hardwick; his sister-in-law, Carla Dennis and her partner, Jeff Gorham, of Chicopee; his nephew and godson, Michael A. Dennis, Jr. and his fiancée, Kristen Artiles; his grandniece, Dakota Dennis; and his extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Michael A. Dennis, Sr. who was Called Home on June 20, 1995; and his niece, Melanie Dennis. His Funeral will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 beginning at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 9 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 594 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His Burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. before the Mass. The funeral home parking lot is located in the rear.
