Obituary

William “Willie” Synosch, 90, of Castle Road, South Attleboro, MA, passed away on Saturday October 14th in the Hulitar Hospice Intake Center, Providence. He was the husband of the late June (Sharples) Synosch. They had been married for 60 years before her passing.

Born in South Attleboro, MA a son of the late Simon and Stella (Filipek) Synosch. He had lived in South Attleboro for his whole life. He was a US Army veteran. He had been a machine operator for Fortifiber in Attleboro, MA before retiring. Willie was crossing guard at the Coelho Middle School.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus South Attleboro council 5876. He had also volunteered with the St. Vincent de Paul Society at the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus parish, South Attleboro.

He was the father of Sharon Barr and her husband John of Lincoln, RI. He was the grandfather to Kayla Nitschke and her husband, Andrew Nitschke, Robert Synosch and his wife, Taylia Norcini, Richard Barr and his wife, Victoria Barr, Katelyn Barr, William Barr and Andrew Barr. Great-grandfather to Ava Nitschke and Ella Nitschke. He was the father of the late Robert W. Synosch.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday October 19th at 9:30am in St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, 18 Baltic Street, South Attleboro, MA. Burial will follow in the Newell Burial Grounds. Visitation Wednesday from 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI.
