Obituary

Cheryl A. (Despin) Glidden, 61 of Worcester passed away on Thursday, October 12th in UMass Memorial Hospital – University Campus. She leaves her husband, Brian Glidden of Worcester; three daughters, Barbara Glidden of Worcester, Kimberly Sargent of Leicester, and April Sargent of Worcester; a sister, Tracy Abarca and her husband, Frank of Worcester; two brothers, Mark Despin and Brian Despin of Webster; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Despin.

She was born in Worcester to the late Donald and Louise (Keddy) Despin. Cheryl worked at Holy Trinity Nursing Home for the past 18 years in housekeeping. She loved to go out for rides especially if it involved shopping or going out to eat. She was a lover of sunsets; her favorite kind are at Hampton Beach where she would go every year with her family. Most of all, she loved spending time with family, especially holidays.

Her visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26th from 4:00pm until 6:00pm in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. A brief service will begin at 5:00pm. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
