Dorothy K. (Litwin) Densmore, age 85, passed away on Oct. 15, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on August 7, 1938 in Chicopee, daughter of the late Stanley Litwin Sr and Stela (Chliszczyk) Litwin. She was a communicant of St Anthony of Padua Church. She was a member of the UCT (United Commercial Travelers), a former Den Mother and Pack Leader for the Cub Scouts and loved to cook and collect things. She is predeceased by her husband, Loren Densmore who passed away in 2009 and also by her son Dennis Densmore; 3 brothers, Stanley, Richard and Robert; one sister, Kathleen Collins and one grandchild, Joseph. She is survived by 2 sons, David Densmore and his wife Nancy of Chicopee, William Densmore and his wife Lezlie of Chicopee; 1 brother, Jack Litwin and his wife Diane of GA; 2 sisters, Patricia Zak of Chicopee and Sandra Besaw and her husband Bill of Chicopee; 7 grandchildren, Jessica, Jason, Andrew, Melissa, Carolyn, Matthew and Christina; 8 beloved great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Funeral will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, followed by an in house Prayer Service at 11:00.
