Paul L. Curley of Saugus, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023. He was 90 years old.
Born in Malden on January 24, 1933, he was the son of the late Francis and Winifred (Feeley) Curley. Paul proudly served our country in the United States Army in the Korean War. He was a retired custodian for the Malden Public Schools for 18 years. His favorite times were reminiscing with his family and many friends. He also enjoyed cookouts, woodworking and gardening. He was proud of his heritage, community, family and friends.
Paul was the beloved husband of the late Joan M. (Crowe) Curley. He was the loving father of Jeannine Curley, Paul L. Curley Jr., William Corcoran and his wife Virginia and the late Renee (Deady) Curley. Paul was the proud grandfather of William and Brian Corcoran, and Samantha Marie Curley, as well as great granddaughters Quinika and Jennifer Joan. He was the dear brother of the late Francis Curley, Alice Modensky, George Curley, James Curley, John Curley and Michael Curley. Paul also leaves many nieces and nephews including Mary Madensky, Barbara Curley and George Curley.
A funeral service will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday October 19th at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday October 18th from 4:00pm-8:00pm.
Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
