KIGGEN, Patricia (Patty) A. (O’Rourke), 81, of Medway, formerly of Natick and Mission Hill, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023.
Born in Boston to the late Francis and Mary Rose O’Rourke, Patricia was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was a devoted wife to Joseph M. Kiggen and the loving mother of Christine M. Kiggen and her husband, James Madden of Cohasset, Joseph M. Kiggen, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Natick and Jason J. Kiggen and his wife, Jennifer of Millis. Patricia’s life revolved around her family. Her seven grandchildren were the lights of her life, Abigail and Sarah Kiggen, Collin, Ryan and Grace Madden, and Henry and Harrison Kiggen. She was the cherished sister of Rosemary McKeown, Janice Hall and the late Michael C. O’Rourke. Patricia is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Patricia had a natural “green thumb” and loved spending time in her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. She was a wonderful cook and baker and especially enjoyed baking the most delicious chocolate chip cookies for her family. Patricia was an avid golfer, holding claim to two lifetime holes in one! She loved to play golf with her children and grandchildren and as a member of many women’s golf leagues.
Although we will deeply miss her presence, her legacy will continue to shine brightly, and she will forever serve as a testament to the enduring power of love and family.
