Worcester – Richard V. Couture, 86, of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in the Saint Francis Rehab and Nursing Center after an extended illness.
Mr. Couture was married to the late Dolores A. (Richard) Couture. He is survived by two sons, Robert Couture and his wife Michele, and Richard Couture and his wife Lori, of Worcester; a daughter Michelle MacGray and her husband Jeff, of New Braintree; and five grandchildren: Justin, Amanda, Katie, Meghan, and Becky.
Richard was born in Worcester, son of the late Alfred and Ruth (Peterson) Couture and worked for many years with the Best Rest Mattress Company.
Mr. Couture was a member of Holy Family Parish and at one time belonged to the Saint Stephen’s Church Men’s Club. He enjoyed working with ceramics, but was the happiest when he was spending time with his family.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 18, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Saint Joseph Church 35 Hamilton St. Burial will follow in Notre dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the funeral.
