Dana K. Holbrook, Sr. 84 of Bridgewater, died Wednesday October 11 after a brief period of failing health.
Born in Freeport, Maine, he was the son of the late Clarence and Frances Holbrook.
Prior to his retirement, Dana worked many years as a machine shop foreman for the City of Boston.
He was the beloved husband of Rose (Sheehan) Holbrook, father of Dana Holbrook, Jr., and his wife Diane, grandfather of Steven Holbrook and his wife Desarae, Christopher Holbrook and his wife Brenda and Melissa Holbrook, great grandfather to Kinley Avery Holbrook and Amiya Rose Moreau.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Monday October 16 from 6-8 PM with a service to follow at 8 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
