Charles Angelo Dellacona, 87, of Franklin died Tuesday, October 3, 2023 under hospice care at The Cedarwood Gardens in Franklin. He was the husband of Lois (Wilbee) Dellacona for 62 years.
Born in Norfolk, October 23, 1935, he was the son of the late Angelo and Julia (Ragna) Dellacona. Charles was a lifelong Franklin Resident.
Charles served in the Navy during The Korean War as a Fireman Apprentice.
He is survived by his children, Charles Dellacona Jr. and his wife Margaret of Merrimack NH, Debra Dellacona and her husband John Vogus of Cohasset, MA, and AnnMarie Chambers of North Attleboro, MA.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dominick Vogus, Matthew Vogus, Vincent Chambers and Michael Tobey. He is also survived by his great grandchild, Emma Vogus.
Charles loved his wife and family. For years when his children were young, he collected scrap metal throughout the year and cashed it in to fund the BIG Dellacona family Christmas! He spent his later years keeping his landscaping meticulous, working daily in all weather until days before his death.
Lois Ann (Wilbee) Dellacona, 83, of Franklin died on Saturday, October 7, 2023 in Milford Regional Medical Center just days after her husband. She was the wife of the late Charles Dellacona for the past 62 years.
Born in Milford Hospital on June 22, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Emma (Osgood) Wilbee. Lois was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Lois was a Homemaker for many years, taking the best care of her family. Later in life, Lois worked for Ben Franklin Savings Bank. Lois loved all things Franklin and was a devout “townie”.
Lois enjoyed knitting, embroidery, reading and watching her favorite soap opera! She was a true caretaker.
Lois was predeceased by her two brothers, Alan and Michael Wilbee.
She is survived by her children, Charles Dellacona Jr. And his wife Margaret of Merrimack NH, Debra Dellacona and her husband John Vogus of Cohasset, MA and AnnMarie Chambers of North Attleboro, MA.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Dominick and Matthew Vogus,
Vincent Chambers and Michael Tobey. She is also survived by her great granddaughter Emma Vogus.
Charles and Lois will be desperately missed by their family.
