PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Sandra M. Morton, 47, of 50 Kendrick St. died Saturday August 17 in UMASS Memorial Hospital - Lake Ave. Campus after an illness.
She leaves her parents Robert B. and Beverly J. (Boss) Morton of Worcester. A brother Robert J. Morton of Worcester; A sister Robin A. Morton-Callahan of Worcester; three nephews and a long time companion Bruce Lacourture of Providence. She was born in Worcester and lived in Providence for 25 years.
Miss Morton worked for AAA Southern New England Mortgage Corporation as a Closing Coordinator for 8 years. She attended St. Peter's Central Catholic High School and was an avid baseball fan.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday August 21 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street with a mass at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. Calling hours are Tuesday August 20 from 6 to 9 PM in the funeral home. Flowers maybe sent or donations may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
