LACONIA ---- Robert “Bob” A. Byars, 75, of Estate Circle, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Concord Hospital in Laconia surrounded by his family.
Bob was born on July 16, 1948, in Utica, MS, the son of Parker and Nannie (Martin) Byars.
He proudly served in the United States Army, serving two tours in Vietnam between 1965-1968.
Bob worked as a construction superintendent for Bonnette, Page and Stone and Turnstone Construction for many years before retiring in 2007. He enjoyed his retirement days as an avid sports fan, playing golf and sharing laughs with family and friends with a joke or a story.
Bob is survived by his three sons, Wesley Byars and his wife Lisa, Robert Byars and his wife Stephanee, and Nickolas Byars and his wife Amy, three grandchildren, Randi, Jordyn and Colton, and his ex-wife Marsha (Cassavaugh) Byars. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Gloria Leggett.
There will be no calling hours.
Burial with military honors will take place on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 12:00pm, at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303.
