Robert M. Beeton, age 64, of Lompoc, CA, formerly of Attleboro, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA.
Born in Norwood, MA on September 15, 1959, he was a loving son of Robert S. Beeton of Mansfield and the late Mary L. (Hamm) Beeton.
Bob grew up in Dedham and was a 1977 graduate of Dedham High School. He worked hard for over forty years as a roofer. He had made his home in California for the past five years and previously resided in Attleboro and Dedham. While living in Dedham, along with his family, was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Dedham.
Bob loved time with his family and had a passion for fishing. He could always be found fixing and building things, enjoying Classic Rock Music and was also a talented pianist.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his devoted daughter Jennifer M. Beeton of Lompoc, California. He was the cherished and proud grandfather of Anabella Q. Garcia of Lompoc, California. He was the dear brother of Margaret A. Hutchins of Milford and Laurel M. Bithoney and her husband Anthony of Mansfield. He is also survived by his much-loved nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as a California family.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday, October 20th from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
A graveside funeral service will follow on Friday at 12:00 Noon at the Brookdale Cemetery, Brookdale Avenue, in Dedham.
In lieu of flowers, Robert’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the American Friends of the Ocean Cleanup, 228 East 45th Street, Suite 9E, New York, NY 10017.
