OXFORD- George M. Berry, age 90, US Army Veteran, passed away on Oct. 6, 2023, in Norway, Maine.
He was born in Parsonsfield on March 8, 1933, a son of the late Carl and Helen (Fenderson) Berry.
George worked all his working years as a woodsman and had a passion for hunting – especially rabbit hunting with his dogs.
He is predeceased by four siblings- Delwin Berry, Kenneth Berry, Bessie Lane, and Mable Spencer; and his longtime girlfriend- Avis Smith.
George is survived by his siblings- Kathy Levesque of Monmouth, Barbara Libby of Bowdoin and Jean Warner of South Portland; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday Oct. 21 at 11 AM at Eastman-Weeks Cemetery in Parsonsfield.
