Helen Simatos, 78, died peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on October 6th, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Lambros; her son, Jerry; and her brothers, Peter, Jerry, and Angelo. She is predeceased by her beloved sister, Andria.
Helen was born in Kefalonia, Greece, and emigrated to Worcester in 1963, where she worked as a hairstylist, most recently as the proprietor of Eleni's Designs in the Tatnuck area. She was passionate about her family above all else and practiced horticulture and the culinary arts as hobbies.
Funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
