Neil J. Belliveau of Winthrop passed away on October 8, 2023. He was 80 years old. Neil was the beloved husband of Beryl (Gagliardi) Belliveau. Born in Grosses Coques, Nova Scotia, Canada, Neil was the cherished son of the late Augustin J. and Cecile (Comeau) Belliveau.
Prior to his retirement, Neil worked as a machinist in the Tool and Die Industry and later as a custodian for Malden Catholic High School.
Neil was the devoted father of Mark Belliveau and his wife Lisa of Winthrop and Paul Belliveau and his wife Kelly of Springfield, VT. He was the adored grandfather of Knight Belliveau. Neil was the dear brother of the late Alphonse Belliveau and his surviving wife Geraldine, Adrienne Comeau and her late husband Wille and Louise Comeau and her late husband Louis all of Nova Scotia, Canada and Leonard Belliveau and his wife Barbara of Winthrop.
A funeral Mass will be held on, Thursday, October 12, in St. John the Evangelist Church (St. Michael's Parish) 320 Winthrop St. Winthrop at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Assn. 309 Waverly Oaks Rd. Waltham, MA. 02452.
