LACONIA ---- Lois M Chase, 82, a beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Belknap County Nursing Home.
She was born on April 18, 1941, in Laconia, NH, to Clifford and Marion Moore.
Lois led a fulfilling life that was defined by her unwavering commitment to her family. She worked at the NH State School for 35 years. She loved to cook and spend time with family.
As a devoted wife, Lois cherished her marriage to her loving husband, Joseph Chase. Together, they built a life filled with shared joy, laughter, and precious memories. Lois’ greatest love was for her daughter, Tonya Rapter, her best friend.
In addition to her daughter, Lois leaves behind her sister, Paula Ellsworth; brother, Eugene Moore; and Tonya’s partner, Daniel Dunn. Lois was predeceased by her daughter, Kim Rapter.
A private burial will be held at Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
