Robert A. Parker, age 47, passed away on Oct 7, 2023. He was born in Holyoke on May 2, 1976. He was a graduate of South Hadley High School. Robert worked as a supervisor for many years at the TJX ARRC warehouse. He was known to many as Coach Bobby. He was an avid dart player, a fan of the New York Yankees, Boston Bruins, Dallas Stars and Houston Texans. Robert liked to fish, attend concerts and was a huge fan of the Grateful Dead and all tribute bands associated with the Grateful Dead. He loved his dogs and was always warming and welcoming to all. He leaves his loving wife Nicole (LaDuke) Parker of Chicopee; one son, Dylan Weiss of Chicopee; one daughter, Korenna Weiss of Chicopee; one brother, Felix Parker and his wife Maggie of TN and his father, Richard Parker and his wife Tina of CA along with his niece Katie Parker of CT, nephew Michael Lafond and wife Lindsay of Westfield, MA. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and very close friends. He is predeceased by his mother Marilyn (Mozgala) Parker. Visiting Hours will be held on Wed., Oct., 11, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St., Chicopee. Burial will be private for the family. A Celebration of life will take place at a later date.
