Eileen G. Carey, of Melrose, formerly of Malden and Everett, October 3rd. Beloved wife of the late Leo J. Carey. Mother of Leo J. Carey Jr. of Malden, the late Deborah (Carey) Ippolito, Michael Carey and his wife Cherylann of East Bridgewater, Patrick Carey of Melrose andTimothy Carey and his wife Andrea of Boxborough. Grandmother of Peter, Krista, Karissa, Kaitlin, Kylene and Edoardo. Great grandmother of Brayden, Gianna, Jack, Cameron, Madison and Zachary. Sister of the late Lawrence, Leo and Joseph Coogan, Margaret Sapienza and Marion Pare. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Eileen was raised in Everett. She is a graduate of Cheverus High School in Malden. For many years she worked as a Bank Teller at the Bank for Savings in Malden. First and foremost, she was a wife, mother and grandmother that was devoted to her family. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Wednesday October 11th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday October 10th from 4-7 PM.
