Jennie M. Baldassarre (LoConte) of Troy, NH, formerly of Medford, passed away on October 3, 2023. She was 93 years old. Jennie was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale Baldassarre. Born in East Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Francesco and Concetta (Franza) LoConte.
Prior to her retirement, Jennie worked as a secretary for Sherwin Williams Paints. Jennie loved her family more than anything. In her younger years, she loved to go dancing, especially line dancing. Jennie played the steel drums and loved music. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, arts and crafts and playing games.
Jennie was the devoted mother of Anna Maria DeFilippo of Gilsum, NH, Joseph Baldassarre and his wife Julie of Gardner and Ursula Baldassarre of Troy, NH. She was the adored grandmother of Nicholas, Joseph, Tommy and Chris DeFilippo, Stephenie, Sarina and Domenic Baldassarre and Michael and Ariana Vlachos. Jennie was the dear sister of the Lucy LoConte and her late husband Anthony of Staten Island, NY, Anthony F. LoConte and his wife Peggy of Saugus and the late Conrad LoConte.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St., Medford, MA, on Wednesday, October 11, from 10AM-12PM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Clement Church 71 Warner Street, Medford, MA, at 12:30PM.
Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
