Lillian G. (Venti) Lemieux, age 94, of Brockton, died peacefully on October 2, 2023 at Baypointe Rehabilitation Center. Lillian was the wife of the late Arthur C. Lemieux, Jr. for 35 years. A lifelong resident of Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Mariani) Venti.
Lillian was a graduate of Brockton High School. For many years she worked with her husband at their company, Capeway Motors. At the time of her retirement, she was employed by Bourne Transportation. She was a kind, sweet and gentle person who was devoted to her family.
Lillian enjoyed bike riding, spending time at the Cape, cooking, crafts, knitting, crocheting, playing Scrabble and solving word puzzles. She loved preparing homemade Italian food for her family and friends.
Lillian was the mother of Arthur and his wife Mary of Brockton, Robert of Haverhill and his partner Christen Grinley of Pelham, NH, John of Brockton and the late Lorie Murphy and Paul Lemieux. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Sarah, Jaimie, John, Julia and Jillian and three great grandchildren: Maeve, Vince and Harlow. She was the sister of the late Theresa Ciccione and John Venti and mother in law of John Murphy.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Tuesday, October 10, from 10am-12pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 12pm. Lillian will be buried at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
