Obituary

Kris William Hourihan, age 38, of Dracut passed away on Thursday, September 28th. Raised and educated in Medford, he was the son of the late Michael J. and Donna M. (Collins) Hourihan. Kris was a longtime Medford resident, and worked in the import/export business. He loved hockey and was very competitive, seeming to win every game (unless he let you win). He loved his family, and was always there in time of need. Kris was always willing to help out, and could fix anything just by watching a YouTube video.

Kris was the beloved husband of Melissa (Cashman) Hourihan, and the dear brother of Keri Hourihan, and Keith Hourihan and his wife Amy. He was the loving uncle of Connor and Hailey Hourihan. Kris was the cherished son-in-law of Thomas and Christine Cashman, and brother-in-law of Lisa Bouchè, her late husband Eddie, their children Rachel Bouchè and her fiancée Jenna Fray, Alex Bouchè and his Fiancée Jasmine Perez, the late Danielle Cashman, David DeVeau and his wife Brigitte, and their children Aiden, Dylan and Ryan. He is also survived by great nephew Nathaniel Bouchè and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 5th, from 4 through 8 PM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral Friday, October 6th, at 8:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 9:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

As an expression of sympathy, contributions may be sent in Kris' name to Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery, online at www.moar-recovery.org.
